Our Services
Community Access Individual (CAI)
Community Access Individual (CAI) is a specialized one-on-one service designed specifically to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in enhancing their independence, improving communication skills, and actively participating in meaningful community activities. Each session is thoughtfully customized to align with the person’s unique goals, preferences, and specific support needs.
Purpose & Goals
CAI supports participants in building essential daily living skills such as managing money effectively, using public transportation confidently, and preparing meals independently. It also aims to strengthen social and communication abilities through real-world interactions accompanied by guided practice. Participants gain valuable confidence in navigating various community settings and engaging in new environments. Additionally, CAI promotes the development of healthy routines and habits that foster personal growth and lasting independence. A key emphasis is placed on encouraging choice-making and self-advocacy skills, empowering individuals to clearly express their needs, preferences, and personal goals.
